Stanford University joins the City of Palo Alto for "Let Freedom Ring! A Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington" Martin Luther King, Jr. Plaza, 250 Hamilton Ave. from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26.

Hopkins Creekside Park Community Meeting
The community near Hopkins Park can review the proposed designs for improvements to the park. At Lucie Stern Community Center, 1305 Middlefield Rd., Community Room from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. For more information, call (650) 496-5916.

Stop by the Engineering Alumni Job Fair 2013 to get your resume to more than 90 employers that include: Apple, BD Biosciences, DirectTV, Environ, Ericsson, Exponent, KLA-Tencor, Lab 126, Lam Research, Microsoft, Nest Labs, Samsung, Sandia National Labs, Sony, SRI International, Synaptics, Tesla Motors and Yahoo.

You can also upload your resume and have it included in a resume book given only to attending employers.

Duration of 4.0 hour(s) at the Arrillaga Alumni Center. Admission is free and no registration is required. Starts at 4 p.m.
