5 Things to Do this Weekend: Fur, Feathers and Fins

  • Pacific Art League of Palo Alto's main gallery will feature "Fur, Feathers, and Fins," an exhibition of 37 photos, drawings, paintings, and prints by 29 artists selected from 90 entries by juror Michael Azgour, an internationally renowned artist specializing in abstract figurative painting. The PALPA is located at 227 Forest Ave. The exhibit runs from June 7 to 28, 2013.
  • Mountain View's Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church will host their annual potluck summer BBQ with young adults ages 20's, 30's, single or married, this Saturday, June 8 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Mitchell Park, 600 E. Meadow Dr, Palo Alto. Bring a dessert, drink, or side dish and a small donation to cover the costs of the meat entree. Check out their website for details: http://www.youngadultcircle.org/
  • The Community Services Agency will host its annual "Taste of Silicon Valley" at the Computer History Museum (1401 North Shoreline Boulevard) this Sunday, June 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets for the food, wine and auction event is $115 per person.
