Carly Janiga, the 2010 NCAA uneven bars champion, is one of seven Stanford gymnasts to be named to the Scholastic…More All-America team by the National Association of Collegiate Coaches/Women. She earned her fourth Scholastic All-America honor to cap a career of excellence both in competition and in the classroom. Since 1990, Stanford has placed 47 gymnasts on the team, totaling 90 honors. Janiga is one of five in school history to earn the honor all four years.
On July 1, 2010, Tabitha Yim was hired by head coach Kristen Smyth as an assistant coach of Stanford's Women's Gymnastics team. Yim was a 14-time All-American at Stanford from 2005-08 -- earning the most All-American honors in school history.
