Gallery House

The Gallery House is a co-op gallery, founded in 1958, that represents the work of many local Palo Alto artists whoMore also keep the space running, year after year. This gallery may be entered through the Printers Inc. Cafe on California Avenue. The cafe itself displays many works by Gallery House artists and the gallery allows visitors to stop by with their coffee from the cafe.

There are two rooms of works in the Gallery House, the first of which holds a feature show that changes every four weeks. There is a reception with food and wine for each exhibition the Friday of its opening week. The second room of the Gallery House contains works from all 40 members of the gallery. 

Admission to the gallery is free. All the works in the gallery are for sale or rent and include paintings, prints, photographs, handmade cards and jewelry.

If you are looking to display your art and become a member of the Gallery House, you may submit a request and have your work reviewed by a jury. Also, visitors can contact the Gallery House to get show updates through email.

ZombieRunner

No, it's not an indieMore film you've never heard of, it's a combination sporting goods store with a gourmet cafe inside. With a motto that says, "stuff for people who run," ZombieRunner was originally an online retailer before opening this store in 2008. Now, the shop is a neighborhood favorite, and the cold-brewed coffee will keep you moving. Check out the barefoot running clinics and the popular five-finger toe shoes.
